The Creature that came from the Woods

When an unusual woodland creature wanders into Clover Village repeating a loud, strange word that no-one can understand, only curious little Nim believes that it might be trying to say something important.

Nim rushes to the library to search for answers but while she is gone the creature causes chaos, disrupting everyone’s plans for the spring festival. Angry and frustrated, the villagers send it back to the woods it
came from.

When Nim returns, she has discovered the meaning of the creature’s mysterious word: Friends. And as the villagers look closer, they realise that all the creature’s ‘mistakes’ have helped to enhance their spring festival plans in ways they hadn’t realised!

With new understanding and open hearts, they search for the lonely creature and bring it back, embracing it into the heart of their community. The creature finds the friends it was searching for all along. It also learns a new word: Home.
